DIY PINK GIN WEDDING FAVOURS WITH FREE PRINTABLE TAGS
If you know me well, you’ll know that when it comes to drinking alcohol I’m pretty dam fussy, as in, I don’t like wine, champagne and I’ll drink spirits as long as you disguise the taste of them with mixers haha However…Over the Christmas holidays I had a breakthrough and tried pink gin! Granted, I had it with lemonade and not soda (sorry gin drinkers!) but I absolutely loved it! And don’t get me started on how pretty it is, I mean, it’s a beautiful shade of pastel pink!
Then this got me thinking, wouldn’t pink gin just make the prettiest wedding favours?! Especially made up all cute in mini bottles, plus guests would surely love to have gin freebies right?! Here’s how to make your own:
YOU WILL NEED:
Pink Gin (we used Gordon’s) // Mini glass bottles (preferably with screw top lids) // Pink spray paint (We used Berry Pink from Rustoleum) // Paper straws (we went for gold) // Gold ribbon // Free printable ‘chin chin’ tags // Hole punch //
STEP 1:
Print off the free printable tags (which you can download here) and cut them out ready, then using your hole punch make small holes in the top of each of the tags so that they can easily thread through your ribbon.
STEP 2:
Spray paint the bottle lids pink and allow the lids to fully dry.
STEP 3:
Finally, fill the bottles with your pink gin, pop your newly painted pink lids back on top and tie your gold ribbon around the bottles. Then thread on the tags and your paper straws and tie into a bow. Job done!
So easy and super cute right?! Also, if you’re wondering where I got the pink sign from it was Urban Outfitters and was a total bargain at £15! xx
Gorgeous! Gin is so popular now too.
