THE RESULTS ARE IN! OUR 2018 SURVEY SAYS…

Our reader survey is hands down one of my favourite times within our blogging year! I can’t even tell you how helpful and inspiring it is to hear your ideas and what you guys would love to see more or less of around here! I sit down and read every single response, every answer and love it when it closes and I can put things neatly into pretty little graphics and charts haha! As always we thought it would be fun to share some of the results with you, so without further ado…

First up, which of these best describes you?

As expect most of you are brides to be but it’s also really interesting for us to see that some of you aren’t getting married at all and that you actually just love crafts or visiting the blog to be inspired! There’s also a few wedding party members here, bloggers, wedding suppliers and of course newly weds!

What are your favourite posts?

There are two clear winners here, DIYs and real weddings! We’re already working on bringing you more DIYs and we would love love love to share more real weddings with you! In all honesty we don’t get submitted enough weddings to us that fit our DIY niche or are lovely and colourful so if you’re a photographer that has shot weddings like these then please email us, we would love to see and share them! The rest of the post categories are pretty fairly distributed and helpful for us to plan a blogging schedule based on how often you’d like to see behind the scenes, or personal posts from us as well as free printables and competitions!

What, kind of DIYs would you like to see here?

YAY! You guys had tons of ideas for DIY tutorials you’d love to see more of around here and we’re full of inspiration as of a result of this! Over the next few months you’ll be seeing plenty more of the above so be sure to check back in! We can’t wait to get started!

Any other features you’d like to see here? Wedding or non wedding related?

Yaaas! Yet again we are loving all of your ideas! Emily is going to start planning her destination wedding next month so I’m sure she’ll be able to shed more light and advice on planning a wedding from afar! It’s also so good to hear you want more mini-moon locations and honeymoon inspiration, these are some of our favourite posts to write! We’ve also already got in the schedule plenty more hen party and bridal shower ideas so watch this space!

Which do you prefer seeing most of on our instagram?

This was SO interesting for us! We were convinced you guys were going to say stories because we spend a lot of our time watching other peoples stories on instagram but you guys are loving the posts! We feel ya and we’re going to be working really hard on our instagram to keep you inspired, especially since a whopping 94% of you said that you mostly keep up to date with us over on instagram!

We were also really surprised to see in the ‘ask us anything’ section that a lot of you wanted to know how Bespoke Bride actually got started, how to actually run a successful blog as well as how much running a blog costs, what the hardest part of our jobs are and where we get our inspiration from! We’ll definitely be answering these questions in future posts so watch this space!
