TROPICAL WEDDING INSPIRATION IN A BARN TO GET YOU IN THE MOOD FOR SUMMER!
I think I might have already said this once or twice but I am sooooo excited that summer is just around the corner!! With the long anticipated change in season comes festival themed weddings, barn dances and partying until late under the stars! So, today we are getting in the mood and celebrating in colour with enough tropical wedding inspiration to shake a palm leaf at!
“We wanted to try something different and colourful but with an edgy twist.” Began wedding stylist and planner, Illy.
“So we went for a trendy black and white striped runner to appeal to couples who like to be on trend but we also wanted to show couples that you can still be on trend and have fun with colour on your wedding day, even if you are getting married in a barn.”
“You can turn any wedding venue into fabulous tropical paradise by styling bold colored items. Whether you choose to do it yourself or hire a company, it’s easy to source colorful ribbons online and tie these to chairs. Pinterest is also useful for finding tutorials on how to carve pineapples to use as vases for your tables and how to keep them fresh for your florist.” She explained.
“Our runner was sourced from Etsy, a well known platform for DIY brides who love all things different and quirky whilst the brides dress was designed by Louise Allison from Louise Rose Couture.”
“I think it is really important to support individual designers and show brides what you can achieve by going to a more bespoke retailer.” Illy added.
