When this fun, fresh South Bridal Brunch landed in our inbox, we thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate the glorious weather we’ve been experiencing here in the UK. Wedding planner and stylist Heather of Carolina Occasions wanted to show brides how bold colours, such as oranges and blues can be used together to create bright and magical decor ideas, perfect for a summer bridal shower.
“April 8th in North Carolina started out freezing, but as the balloons went up and the linens were placed, it was almost as if the sun was smiling down on us!!” Heather began.
“As our models arrived and popped champagne, it felt like a real party was starting. The laughs were natural which made for some phenomenal images.”
“We decided to give vendors full creative freedom.” She explained.
“We told them our main colors were orange and blue and that we would love to incorporate pinks and yellows too. Other than that, we wanted them to be able to create something fresh and original, something you don’t see every day on Pinterest.” She added.
“The balloon backdrop really brought in a lot of color. We loved the idea because it was a lot cheaper than putting a huge garland as the backdrop. This look is something that can easily be done for any bridal shower. With a few eclectic pieces and no fear of color, you too can have this magically colorful day!”
