3 QUICK AND EASY DIYS TO MAKE BEFORE THE SUMMER IS OUT!
I don’t know about you but this summer has been one of the best of my life so far, I think it must be the heat wave that we had in the UK but everyone’s spirits seemed to have just lifted! There were a ton of fun social events going on too and it’s left me with that ever clingy feeling of just not wanting summer to end! Luckily I still have a holiday to look forward to but if your summer is still in full swing and you’re looking for a few more projects that are perfect for the beach or saving money for your honeymoon fund then keep on reading…
1.SLOGAN KIMONO
What’s more fun than a cheeky pun or summer slogan?! We ordered this gorgeous tropical kimono from Boohoo and then decided to jazz it up a little with bright pink text! To do this, we simply opened up the Cricut Design Space, typed the quote we wanted and sized it 10 inches wide then let our Cricut machine cut the text out of the pink iron on material we had! Then all that was left to do was iron it on and then strut around the pool in this one of a kind item! Easy and so fun!
2.BEACH BAG PUN
We can’t be expected to hit the beach without a cute beach bag to keep all our accessories in right?! In case you’re sensing a theme here we clearly love a slogan so just the same as the kimono, we wrote out our text in the Cricut Design Space, let the machine cut it out and ironed it on to a stripey bag, this time in blue iron on!
3. SUMMER LOVING SUNGLASSES
And last but certainly not least (in fact I think this one might just be my favourite!) why not personalise a pair of sunglasses?! We used black vinyl to put the quote ‘summer loving’ on these and we love how they turned out! Of course you could put ‘just married’ or ‘Mr/Mrs surname’ or perhaps a date?! The possibilities are endless and they certainly take an ordinary pair of sunglasses into something that little bit more special!
