SUPER TRENDY VICTORIAN FARMHOUSE WEDDING
Ivan and Renee came to know each other after a mutual friend introduced them over the phone. They met in person shortly after that first phone call, and quickly fell in love. Their mutual love for God was and is the reasoning for their close bond, and that was evident throughout their wedding day. When asked where they found their inspiration for planning their wedding, they said, “We wanted to honor God in three areas: purity in relationship, honoring our parents, and budgeting with the mindset that ‘our money’ is God’s money.” With that being said, they did an amazing job of making their entire celebration look beautifully put together. The Jacksons loved the bright and open setting of the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach, California. With a restored Victorian farm house, a lush enclosed lawn, and sparkling string lights, it’s a gorgeous hidden gem just a few moments away from the beach.
Renee had heads turning all day in her sophisticated sleeveless gown from Nicole Miller. She made her look complete with the most amazing long, flowing veil. With the help of a friend, her hair was elegantly curled and tucked back into a half-up half-down ‘do. Her stunning bouquet- created by another unbelievably talented family member- had an arrangement of large pink flowers, draping purple and green, and pops of purple amongst bright greenery. Ivan was looking handsome in a royal blue plaid suit, a pink and blue plaid tie, and brown shoes. His groomsmen wore matching ties, but opted out of the jacket. Instead, they wore muted navy pants with suspenders. Renee’s bride tribe was dressed to perfection in mismatched blush and taupe gowns. The combination of pinks and blues created a cheerful and romantic contrast. The bridal party walked down the aisle of the outdoor ceremony set on the lawn in front of the Newland Museum, to a romantic and intimate altar at the gazebo. It was adorned with a wooden sign painted with a bible verse, and draped with elegant white fabric and a few flowers placed throughout.
Ivan and Renee enjoyed their dinner made by another one of the wonderful couple’s friends, at their incredible sweethearts table. The table was overflowing with gorgeous floral arrangements that filled the table with color and charm. To set apart their’s apart from the guest’s and make it uniquely their own, gold block letters of their initials as well as candles were arranged on the table as well. After enjoying the mouth-watering multi-layer cake made by Old World Bakery, their guests boogied down on the dance floor to music provided by Flawless Djs.
From the walk down the aisle to the very last dance, this beautiful celebration came together perfectly thanks to the couple’s family and friends who made the whole day run ever so smoothly.
