STYLISH DIA DE LOS MUERTOS INSPIRED WEDDING
From the minute wedding photographer Jenn Wagner arrived to see bride Erika and her girls at the Montelucia there was pure joy and laughter as they sat around the table laughing and enjoying one another’s company before the big event!
“When I met Erika I could tell she had such a kind and compassionate heart and that was truly shown in all the little details of her wedding day!” Jenn began.
“She had made each of her bridesmaids beautiful bracelets that had each of their names engraved and a little something special about them on the back!”
“While we were doing bridal portraits I would ask her to look down and then look up with a soft smile! She would try so hard but the biggest smile would come out and we both would laugh! She was so full of Joy she couldn’t help but smile the biggest smile ever and I loved it (And being that she is a dentist her teeth were absolutely stunning!)”.
“When we arrived at the church we only had five minutes till the services were supposed to start. Erika and Michael had talked about doing a first touch, where they would not see each other but would just hold hands and talk prior to seeing Erika come down the aisle. There was a bit of a rush to start the ceremony but I LOVED how Erika said ‘this is my wedding and this is important to me’! It’s so true you only get this one moment and you can’t get it back! I loved photographing this intimate moment and so glad we found the time to do it.” Jenn told us.
“The ceremony was beautiful and I loved watching the two of them look at one another and giggle! You could just see how excited they were to be making a covenant with the Lord and coming together as one! As the ceremony came to an end and it was time for Michael to kiss Erika let me tell ya it was the most romantic, spin around, dip kiss I had ever seen!”
“We then headed to McCormick Ranch Golf Club for the reception! It was an outside-inside venue and overlooked the lake and was just gorgeous! From the Ranunculi hanging from the ceiling and the beautiful candlelit tables, the ambiance was so romantic!”
“There were so many beautiful moments during the reception. I loved how as each of the bridal party couples came in the DJ would read a little about what Erika and Michael had to say about them. I also loved how the DJ had Erika and Michael come to dance floor and he told us all their love story and how they met from Erika and Michael words. It was funny, and also made me tear up! These two were brought together by the Lord and they made it a huge point to let everyone know how thankful they were for being there.”
“My absolute favorite was their dance! It started off slow and turned into a fiery, salsa, tango, cumbias masterpiece!!! It was amazing and so fun to watch!! Being that they were both dentists and met in dental school they gave out toothbrushes as one of their thank you gifts and it was awesome!”
“Erika and Michaels wedding day was full of Love, Joy, and Laughter and Kayla and I enjoyed every second of capturing their love for one another, their family and friends! We feel so blessed to be able to share this day with them!”
