DIY CELEBRATION QUOTE GLASSES FOR ANY OCCASION

After Valentines day we tend to see a rise in engagements meaning a rise in engagement parties! If you’re looking for a fun spin on the glasses at your engagement party or perhaps you’re throwing a little party for your friend and you want to make the details that little bit more special then why not make these DIY celebration glasses?! We love the fun slogans on the side and the best news is that they work for any occasion! Hen party? Check! Bridal shower? Check! Engagement party? Check! Heck even the wedding if you wanted! Here’s how to make your own…

If you would like to make these for yourself then continue reading our DIY below however, you can also save time by buying the stickers in the BB shop if you prefer!

YOU WILL NEED:

Plain glasses
A Cricut Explore or Maker*
Cricut’s gold vinyl
Transfer tape
(OR alternatively you can buy the stickers here)

* Please note I’m sure you could still do this with gold sticker letters if you wanted to but I think it would be very very difficult to find stickers in the exact size and font! By using a Cricut machine you can just type in or upload what you want it to cut out and it will do it for you which is way easier!

STEP 1:

Open up the Cricut Design Space and type out the quotes that you would like to cut, of course you can do as many or as little as you like but we used the following quotes:

Woohoo!
Yay!
Party!
Yippee!
Cheers!
Chin chin!
Congrats!
Pop!
Fizz!
Clink!

Of course you can use whatever quotes you want to, once you know what you’d like on the glasses simply type out the quotes and size them appropriately to your glasses (in our case we sized them 3.5inches in length)

STEP 2:

Place your vinyl onto a standard grip mat and hit that Go button and watch while the Cricut cut outs all of your lyrics for you!

STEP 3:
Using your transfer tape, place one quote onto a glass, rubbing the transfer tape hard against the glass so it sticks well and then pull the transfer tape away!

STEP 4:

Continue until you have covered all of your glasses with your fun quotes and then fill them up with your favourite cocktail of choice!
