THESE DIY STAINED GLASS PLACE NAMES ARE TOO DREAMY FOR WORDS!
I’ve always had a fascination with stain glass, when I was younger I would love making mosaics out of the small pieces others would consider scraps. And now that I’m older the dreamy effect of these beautiful pieces of glass are still not lost on me, I think they could be such a classy way to add a splash of colour to your wedding and today we’re gonna show you how to turn these offcuts into the perfect place names for your guests (It’s a bonus that they double as favours too!)
YOU WILL NEED:
- Stain glass offcuts (We got these ones from ebay)
- A Cricut machine*
- Gold vinyl
*If you don’t have a Cricut machine to cut the vinyl names out for you then don’t worry too much, you could still achieve the effect by asking your stationer (If they know calligraphy) to hand write the names in a nice style! For us though, we can’t personally do that so I set our machine to cut the names out in a nice font using vinyl.
I feel like this DIY is so simple that it doesn’t even really warrant steps! It’s as easy as choosing your font in the design space and setting your machine to cut out the gold vinyl then using your transfer tape to place the names onto the stain glass! Easy peasy! Your guests will love keeping their piece of glass as a memory of your special day too! xx
