TROPICAL BOHO ELOPEMENT INSPO IN A 60’S THEMED NEW ORLEANS MOTEL
Today’s wedding inspo was the result of a styled shoot that was especially designed for a group of twelve photographers. Created by Kara from Fete Planning, a wedding planner local to New Orleans, she wanted to create a micro-modern wedding set up with a boho flair that takes a nod to vintage key west tropical vibes.
The location was the Drifter Hotel; which was an old motel that underwent a complete overhaul and was the perfect setting for this shoot. The pool and hanging disco ball tied into the tropical yet 60’s vibe and the hotel is somewhat of a 60’s modern design.
“Unique and different was the goal so that all of the photographers would have something outside of their element to shoot.” Kara told us.
“I wanted the shoot to feel authentic to the wedding industry, so we used an actual engaged couple complete with a first look to keep the feelings and emotions real. I loved being able to photograph something completely different than most of my weddings. It was such a fun day with some of my favorite photography friends!”
