“This shoot embodies the modern couple who is laid back, free spirited + wants to celebrate their love with one another in the presence of the open road.” Photographer Hayley Jacabson began.
“The location is a mountainside of Penngrove, California, a tiny town located in Sonoma County.This shoot took place on the same street as my childhood home and on our good friend and neighbor’s open lot property!” Hayley explained.
“It was the most perfect location for this shoot/couple because it was secluded, open and gave us texture and plenty of scenery to work with! It was different and unexpected. Most people wouldn’t even spot this location, and the beauty of it is truly a hidden gem.” She added.
“The theme was bold, romantic, emotional, modern and warm. The vibe showcases the modern runaway love, an elopement for the edgy and unconventional couple! Colors included black, red, blue and neutrals to play into the season of fall.” Hayley added.
“This shoot is for the couple who loves their family and friends, but has chosen an elopement to focus on the most important thing: their love. They are the easy going couple who is just ready to be united, forever. They love adventure, they thrive off of being just a little different than the average and love each other beyond words. I want them to be inspired by love more than anything.”
