HAPPILY EVER AFTER RUSTIC WOODLAND ELOPEMENT
When you first thought about planning your wedding, what was the first vision that popped into your head? A big celebration with all your family and friends or a small ceremony, just the two of you, surrounded by idyllic countryside? And I’m intrigued, for those half way through their planning or perhaps you’ve just got wed, which one would you choose now?
Once you’ve got engaged, shared the news with the your nearest and dearest and decided on a date, the next thing is usally to start the planning. But what happens if the thought of a traditional big celebration isn’t exactly what you had planned?
Sophie and Greg wanted a wedding with minimal stress, without any fear or worries. They chose to elope to Dartmoor, just the two of them and the day couldn’t have been any more perfect for this cute couple.
“Your wedding day is about you and having a small intimate wedding is just as magical if not more so than a large traditional event.” Sophie told us.
“We found ‘Ever After a Dartmoor Wedding’ online and instantly fell in love with the intimate look & feel of the ceremonies.”
They wanted a woodland/rustic theme for their day to fit them as a couple, as well as the beautiful scenery to match.
And the best part?
“I sent a Pinterest board over to our wedding co-ordinater and she took care of everything down to the smallest detail.” Sophie told us.
“We chose to go with the recommended photographer, florist and chef of the venue and they were all just incredible.”
So whose with me in finding there’s a tiny piece of them that’s wishing they’d just eloped now? A minimal wedding with no fears or worries – sounds just as magical as it looks.
