“The idea started with a vision board with a graphic black and white painting and went from there.” Sarah told us.
“From the quirky black and white cake from Sugar Mommy’s to the opulent bold florals & calligraphy from Haley Wynn Designs, everyone brought their ‘A’ game.” It’s important to pick creative vendors who are onboard with your style and vision,” she added.
“Pearl Snap Hall is known for it’s vintage white look, which provides a perfect blank slate. They simulated black coffering on their barndoors using tape, a visual trick that is quite easy to reproduce for any event,” she explained.
“We then brought in some vintage elements to create something unique for example the yellow sofa & enamel top table.”
“The model wore two different but equally, stunning dresses – each playful in their own way which we paired with more vibrant details like the HOT pink shoes!”
“Don’t be afraid to have fun! We couldn’t resist pairing the fluffy Chosen dress with a life-size ostrich prop – it just kind of happened!” Sarah laughed.
