THIS COUPLE SERVED PIZZA AT THEIR WEDDING RECEPTION AND IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST BITE!

I am so excited to share today’s wedding with you! Allison and Eric hosted their beautiful wedding at Asbury Park in New Jersey then after the ceremony treated their guests to pizza at the the well know restaurant – Porta! Yummy!!

“Eric proposed at my nursing school graduation party. He wanted to do it in front of my large family!” began Allison.

“Saying that didn’t want a large traditional banquet hall wedding, we actually wanted to elope,” she told us.

“While out furniture shopping one day, the salesman was telling us about a wedding he recently went to at Porta. I was intrigued- I didn’t know they did weddings, so we went to check out the room and we fell in love. It was the only venue we looked at!”

“For the color scheme, I loved the natural look of burlap and twine so we decorated mason jars with twine and gold paint and chose dark, burgundy florals for my bouquet and floral centrepieces.” Allison explained.

“We tried to shop around for accessories on websites such as Etsy – my veil and hairpiece, both from Etsy – were significantly less expensive (and handmade!) compared to similar styles I tried on at bridal stores.”

“Really, don’t stress over minor details or try too hard for everything to be “perfect”. You’ll drive you and your fiancée crazy with wedding talk 24/7, so give it a break once in a while.”
