THIS NATURE INSPIRED ELOPEMENT IS PERFECT FOR ADVENTURE LOVERS!
Today’s shoot took place near Stillwater Reservoir in the Flat Top Mountain Range just outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With aspen groves, sweeping mountain views, and a beautiful drive, this location is perfect for an intimate elopement that doesn’t compromise on grandeur.
“Steamboat Springs is the BEST place to get married if you love the outdoors. With plenty of options for hiking trails, lakes, and rivers, you can find anything to fit your adventure style.” Began event planner, Angie.
“With the yellow aspen leaves and fresh snow, we wanted to add some bright blues to add some contrast. HollyAnn from Hop Rabbit Flowers is simply amazing to work with. She ran with this vision and added the tie dye silk ribbon from La Soie and blue hues for the bridal bouquet and donkey florals, complementing our couple’s love for adventure. She also added a very natural fall colored instalment into the aspen grove with delicate flowers hanging by string. It’s almost like you wouldn’t notice the ceremony flowers until you walked upon it, it blended into the natural environment so nicely.”
“Rob and Chereen were a dream to work with. This shoot ended up being their wedding anniversary. They wore their original wedding outfits including Chereen’s actual Coralie Beatrix dress that she’d purchased on Etsy for her own wedding a few years prior. It’s a wrap dress with stretchy material which was very comfortable to hike in all day. Chereen, is also the maker behind Smeeny Beanie Knits. It’s the perfect layer for your next adventure as it adds a little flair and warmth. As you can probably tell our shoot was relaxed and full of love and adventure just like their relationship.”
“We hope that a real couple will use this as inspiration for planning their own adventure elopement. Why not start the rest of your life together by doing something you both enjoy?”
