BEAUTIFUL WEDDING INSPIRATION FOR COUPLES WHO WANT TO CELEBRATE THEIR SPANISH CULTURE
We are honoured to share this wedding inspiration with you all today. Event planner Ashley used her creativity to tell her family’s story and honour her Hispanic culture in such a beautiful way. The theme was inspired by her late father and late grandfather who was originally from Cuba.
“Although, my father left Cuba as a teenager he never forgot his traditions and instilled them into his family. I am proud to not only showcase my heritage but also to include personal elements from my late loved ones in my shoot.” Began event planner, Ashley.
“Spanish culture is known for its loving celebrations, being surrounded by family, tradition and of course bright colours. I wanted the styling elements to communicate love and my heritage in each shot; love for your home, your newfound love, and love for your family.” She explained.
“The floral centrepiece, bouquet and floral headpieces were DIY elements included in the styled shoot. The lush floral centrepiece runner included real and silk flowers with soft votive candles, and a small family heirloom vase positioned in-between the couple.”
“The gown and flower girl’s dress were provided by Soliloquy Bridal Couture. The gown had romantic draped shoulders and fluffy flamingo dancer ruffles along the edges of the split. It was the perfect balance of sexy and elegance.” Ashley told us.
“The party favor was a mini-Patron bottle and the tequila tray included tequila, fresh lime and salt. The glasses and tableware were part of my father’s collection that was gifted to me.”
“The stationery and calligraphy items embraced the bright Spanish theme and was created with a custom tile design which we also used to individually wrap the cigars. The cigar signage, table numbers, and name cards was created with handwritten calligraphy on ceramic tiles.” She added.
“The cake continued the same bright bold colour theme and included Spanish tiles, a Macrame pattern, and flamingo dancers and was adorned with beautiful cascading flowers.”
