TROPICAL WEDDING INSPIRATION AT THE DALLAS WORLD AQUARIUM
Non-traditional weddings are increasingly more popular as couples navigate getting married in the middle of a pandemic. And with less guests, it means they can be more creative with their choice of venue. With that in mind, Melissa Claire photography along with a team of stylists and designers decided to embrace this new normal and apply a little out of the box thinking with their choice of venue.
Suitable for an elopement or a micro-wedding the Dallas World Aquarium, is at the top of our list of most unique wedding venues to have ever appeared on Bespoke Bride. You’re going to love this!
“Why not get married at the beautiful Dallas World Aquarium? “It’s one of the best aquariums in the country! A non-conventional wedding venue with a new Rainforest Exhibit that is perfect for a unique micro wedding or elopement – we fell in love with it!” Claire began.
“We put together a palette of bright colours with a tropical theme, gathered an incredible team of vendors and encouraged them to do what they do best! We wanted this to be a creative outlet for everyone and you can see the awesome results!”
“Our bride and groom models are in fact a real couple! The groom wore the most incredible pink suit, whilst the bride rocked green hair with bridal jumpsuit and cape!”
“The main table was set up in the brand-new Cloud Forest Trek exhibit (with some steam that ended up looking like a smoke bomb) and we held our fake ceremony at golden hour. The colours, the settings, and the sounds of the animals! It was like being transported to a different world.”
“We designed this shoot with the modern and offbeat eloping couple in mind small spaces, curated decor, and tropical holiday mood. Don’t be afraid to step out of the norm, rock a wedding jumpsuit, use bright colour and cut your guestlist if you want or in this case have to!”

Amazing! This colour is so beautiful 🙂
Really great idea to get married at an aquarium. Also nice deco and floral design. We love non-traditional weddings. Especially in the middle of a pandemic there a so many alternate possibilities to get married. Wonderful. 🙂
