HOLD ON TO THE LAST DAYS OF SUMMER WITH THIS COLOURFUL BEACH ELOPEMENT
It might have been the first day of Autumn yesterday, but we’re not ready to let go of those summer vibes quite yet. Kathleen and Adam’s beach elopement is full of fun and colourful flowers. The couple wanted to share this special moment with a small group of their closest friends and family. Adam was all smiles on the day whilst Kathleen would take anyone’s breath away with her crown of pink, orange and peach roses. Adam’s person of honour was his daughter who was trying to hold back tears of joy as Kathleen and her dad exchanged vows. To end the ceremony, they both gathered a handful of sand from where they stood and combined it into a jar. “You may kiss the bride” was followed by a moment alone on the beach, then ice cream as a new family, and finished off with a shrimp boil surrounded by their loved ones. A beautiful day with cake by the ocean… who wouldn’t love that?
“The oceanfront home had everything we needed to be both our picturesque event space & vacation spot. We just had to cross our fingers & hope for the best weather.”
“Everyone we used for the big day was wonderful! Our photographers Ezer of course really captured our best moments with creativity & flair! They had the idea to have our “first look” on the largest dunes on the east coast which was so unique & exciting! The landscape made our photos really stand out – like the cape on my gown blowing wildly in the wind!” She told us.
“Renee Landry events also delivered the most stunning floral displays & bridal bouquet whilst, Almost Heaven Bakery was delightful to work with in selecting our cake & it was delicious! Outer Banks Boil cooked up an amazing seafood boil, rolled it out & cleaned it up. It was all very simple so that we had little to worry about!”
“Don’t second guess having a smaller wedding.” Kathleen added.
“We had time to share with each guest & those moments were priceless. I’d also say that if you can do things yourself like makeup & hair, go for it. The day really flies & you don’t want to spend it running to and from the salon.”
