THIS DEATH TILL US PARTY WEDDING INSPO IS SO ROCK & ROLL!
This Rock N Roll bridal shoot is sure to make your readers rethink their entire wedding vision! This team of creatives believe in incorporating as much of your personality into your wedding day as possible!“My initial inspiration came from two very close friends of mine; models, Kaylee and Diana, who have an incredible collection of unique tattoos. We wanted to highlight them as much as possible. Because who doesn’t love a tatted bride?” Began event planner, Nora.
“Our first step when planning this shoot was to find our perfect venue – which pretty much fell directly in our laps! A good friend of mine, Tony Hughes, messaged me about a new space he was opening called Breakforth Studio and it was exactly what we were looking for! The light warehouse space typically fits 50 guests and has 2 long walls of classic industrial windows which are a staple in Cleveland. The white and black atmosphere really complimented our colourful design, so it was an easy decision to host our shoot there.” She explained.
“Kaylee and Diana are obsessed with Oreos, so we created a custom Oreo cake to accompany delicious pink cupcakes, classic bubblegum and artisan popsicles! We even brought in a custom neon sign and 8′ mural from Mise-en Studios to accent their dessert lounge!”
“The shoot was filled with little personal details including vintage furniture rentals from Lavender and Lace as well as custom and hand-gold leafed invitations from Warmest Regards.”
“It was very important for us to show that you can use multiple colours in meaningful ways without overloading your senses. Kristin from Merkel’s Floral created stunning floor arrangements that could easily be repurposed for multiple areas of an event. The mixture of dyed floral and tropical elements really made the florals pop on film!” Nora told us.
“Our talented hair and make artist, Katlyn from Local Kolor Studio, took inspiration from Avril Lavigne, Vivienne Westwood and Lady Gaga to create colourful and modern eye makeup. I typically like my styled shoots to have a bit of fantasy to them and Katlyn was so excited to create something unique and special! We wanted to mimic a mohawk for Kaylee and classic rocker braids for Diana to finish off their styling!”
“To have an authentic Rock N Roll shoot, we definitely needed a team of rockin’ photographers. Mikayla and Luke of Agape Photography were the perfect fit! Their moody, editorial style made our models feel at ease and showcased all our work so beautifully. Their use of light and shadows is unmatched!”
“If I had to give advice to any couples out there planning their weddings, suggest infusing as much of your own personality into the day as possible! 20 years down the road, it won’t matter what was trendy. All that matters is that you do exactly what you want! There is no right way to throw a wedding!” She added.
