Annette and Sandra’s Wedding at Altahammond Barn in Northern Ireland
These two ladies had the most incredible wedding day at Altahammond Barn. After 35 years together, they finally said ‘I Do’.
The Venue
This Rustic Barn venue on the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland is fantastic. The owners, Heather and Tom McMaster are experts at holding bespoke weddings. An exclusive venue, with one wedding per day, every couple has full access to all areas within Altahammond Wedding Barn so they can add their own personal touches throughout the venue.

Annette and Sandra did all the planning themselves, saving the additional cost of a wedding planner.
The Photographer
Their photographer Ursula was only hired one week before the wedding as their initial photographer, unfortunately, got Covid (he’s ok). Annette and Sandra both agreed this was the best bit of misfortune that could have happened during the wedding planning, as it turned out Ursula was the ‘perfect’ photographer for them.

The most memorable part of the wedding photos is being in the middle of a farmer’s field, on a tractor, surrounded by hundreds of cows, and hearing Ursula’s screams as she was driven up the field on the back of a Quad by the videographer. We love this memory, it makes us laugh every time we talk about it.

In between dinner courses, we had a singing waiter. He was fantastic, dramatically falling with a tray full of stuff in the middle of the dance floor. The whole room fell silent. Only for him to jump up and start singing. He had everyone standing on their seats, singing their hearts out and waving their napkins like flags. It was an incredible moment!
We also had a caricature artist create drawings of everyone. Our guests loved this memento of their day.
All in all, it was the perfect day. We wouldn’t change a thing about it and would love the ability to hit replay!
