Beauty DIY: How To Create Newspaper Print Nails
You will need:
♥ Newspaper or magazine
♥ Alcohol
♥ White/Pale nail varnish
♥ Clear top coat nail varnish
♥ Cotton buds
Step 1:
Apply a couple of coats of white nail varnish and wait/blow/wave hands uncontrollably until completely dry!
Step 2:
Soak your nails in the alcohol for around 10-20 seconds.
Step 3:
Grab a piece of your newspaper or magazine and hold it onto your nail, be careful not to move the paper once it’s pressed against your nail otherwise the text will duplicate!
Step 4:
Carefully pull the paper off your nails (if it feels a bit stuck then pop your finger back into the alcohol with the paper on it and it will slide straight off) then continue the technique for the rest of your nails!
Step 5:
Wait until fully dry then add a very thin layer of top coat. Be really careful when you do this because when Emily applied her top coat the text went all smudgy and runny! So a very thin and light layer of clear nail varnish should do the trick!
And there you have it! Easy right? You may want to grab your cotton buds, dip them in some nail varnish remover and clean up the edges too because the text can get a little messy!
