Alexa & Gabe’s Snowy Family Elopement in Colorado
I love when couples have visions that fit their vibe for their Colorado elopements. You can absolutely make sure every part of your wedding day is personalized, including the time you spend with your families, while still doing an epic solo adventure, and that’s exactly what Alex and Gabe accomplished when eloping in Colorado. The three of us went over of different ways to incorporate their car, a first look, a unity candle ceremony, and Alexa’s father walking her down the aisle. All of these sounded so fun beforehand and they were even better playing out the day of!

We met up for a first look near Silverthorne and explored the snowy mountains of Colorado on our own before warming up with coffee on the way to meet the family. We then met up with their families and Alexa freshened up in the car before her dad walked her down the aisle. They shared their vows in front of a frozen lake before doing their unity ceremony with their family, friends, and dogs.
Gabe and Alexa had a really clear-cut and fun vision for their elopement and it was really fun making sure every photo captured those elements and moments. It was a fun, adventure-filled day in Colorado that left my heart full!
