It all started in the most unexpected place – a nail salon. That’s where Alex, the talented photographer behind these photos, met Lauren, the bride/model, talking about her chosen nail color – the same one she wore for her wedding. Intrigued, Alex struck up a conversation with Lauren and came up with an idea for a summer-themed styled shoot since her actual wedding happened in January, during the frosty month.

Lauren loved the idea, and soon Alex and Carmen, the owner of Evermore Occasions, started working on their vision. The duo collaborated with Select Event Group, experimenting in the showroom until they created the perfect tablescapes.

Their vision was crystal clear: to capture the essence of a modern mid-summer garden wedding, with lush greens, pristine whites, touches of black, and a strong focus on floral arrangements. Bethany, the owner of Denby Design Co, embraced their idea and added her own unique touch, creating an exquisite bridal bouquet, an organic ceremony arch, and eye-catching table florals that perfectly embodied the inspiration they had in mind. Of particular note was Bethany’s organic round table centerpiece, which showcases a new trend in wedding decor.

The team was hosted by White’s Ferry, a beautiful private home venue in Leesburg, Virginia, and was joined by Akbar Sayed, who provided film photography and cinema, as well as Michelle of Monahime Beauty, who did the bride’s hair and makeup for the shoot.
The result of this collaboration, on display in these breathtaking photos, is a romantic summer soiree perfect for any bride-to-be who loves classic elegance and timeless beauty, set in modern times.
