Wedding for the Weekend: Cassie & Edd’s Unique Furniture Filled Wedding.
So its finally here, the wedding we have been dying to share with you for a few weeks now. Cass and Edd are the awesomely cool founders of Dig Haushizzle a company that sells unique and alternative furniture. Their quirky sense of style and creative personalities completely shone through on their wedding day along with their love for one another, their family and friends.
“Edd and I are huge fans of Vivian Westwood, so I just had to try on all of their bridal gowns. They were amazing however there was nothing quite right for me and they were all way out of my price range, with dresses starting at 8k, so I couldnt have had one even if i had wanted to.”
“I originally wanted a hankerchief dress with a petticoat which looked rad, however as I own loads of hankerchief dresses anyway I didnt feel that it would be special enough for our wedding. This would be great for other brides who wanted to wear a Westwood style style dress without the 8k price tag but I decided I wanted something a little different.“
“Our families and friends made our day extra special in so many ways, firstly I was able to wear my great Aunt Glads wedding ring, this meant so much to me as we were so close. I also wore my mums blue sapphire as my something borrowed and blue. Secondly we were so thankful to them for letting us hold the reception at their house all weekend as well as being fantastic hosts. They put so much into getting the garden ready from prepping the grass, cutting fields and planting an abundance of hydrangeas in lots of pots. We could not thank our families enough, it was truely everything me and Edd could ask for.”
“We missed out lots of traditional wedding things such as no cake, no first dance, no announced entrances, no receiving line, no throwing of the bouquet. This was because we felt that these things weren’t important to us and would just take up precious time with family and friends. We made our vows for us which was the easy bit as we have been together for 8 years, the rest of time was spent partying with our friends and family, as you can imagine it was very special.”
We can’t thank Cass & Ed enough for not only inviting us to be part of this incredible day, but also for allowing us to share this day with you guys.
A huge congratulations to you guys and we truely wish you a beautiful life together.
Much Bespoke Love
Emily & Jess
