When Ibiza wedding planner, Cristina Di Giovanna of Le Jour Du Oui, called photographer Ana Lui asking if she would like to shoot an inspiration session with handmade macrame, a pastel colour palette and aztec patterns she knew it would be amazing!
“Combining the stunning natural beauty of Ibiza and sourcing local collaborators was so much fun!” Ana told us.
“We spoke with local designers, bakers, met a real life couple and looked for heart shaped cactuses in the fields of Ibiza.” She continued.
The icing on the cake came when the creative duo shared their mood board with Kristin from Flowers Ibiza. “She jumped up with excitement and from that moment we knew we had THE perfect team on board!”
“Floral design, ceremony arch and bouquet came out exactly how we had imagined it and the lovely Sharon from Cup Cake Collection Ibiza, made an amazing cake for us to play with. Our stationary was shipped from Italy the same day of the shoot, whilst our stunning dress which was hand made by Ylva Kailash, fitted Tiana perfectly.” Explained Ana.
“It was windy like hell and everything was flying around but we pulled it off and got super lucky with the most amazing, moody, pinkish sky and light ever! I am so grateful to everyone who made this happen. I absolutely love working with Cristina and it feels very special each time you discover there are so many creative and cool people around your area. It’s just a matter of getting together and getting inspired.”
