We LOVE This Simply Southern Styled Shoot at Court Manor In New Market, VA
The Magnolia Wedding Collective knew they wanted to host a styled shoot at Court Manor the first time they visited. Nestled in New Market, Virginia, with an amazing view of the mountains from the back lawn, they fell in love with the venue’s southern charm.
Envisioning a Spring Wedding
Sarah K Events envisioned a spring wedding with monochromatic blues accented with light pinks and gold. The French Toile used with vases and décor became the inspiration for the invitation suite, designed by Written in the Stars, featuring the couple’s monogram initial. Tiers of Heaven also incorporated this design into the cake, along with monogrammed napkins and favors.
A Warm Welcome for the Guests
As guests arrived, they were greeted on the expansive white pillar porch by the beautiful sound of a masterfully played violin floating from the balcony, courtesy of Stephanie Strings. A large mirrored welcome sign, designed by Written In the Stars, offered a perfect photo opportunity.
The Bride’s Elegant Attire
The beautiful bride wore a Justin Alexander gown provided by The Valley Bride. Modeled by the 2023 Miss West Virginia, Karrington Childress, the bride also dazzled in a Christian Caine original designed Venezia Pendant with matching earrings. Her engagement ring, a Christian Caine original design from the Paris Pave collection, featured a 1.5 ctw oval with a hidden halo containing ten diamonds under the center.
The Groom and Bridal Party
The groom and best man looked dapper in navy blue suits provided by Classic Menswear & Tuxedos. The maid of honor complemented the theme in a French blue gown and a smaller set of the Christian Caine Venezia earrings.
Cocktail Hour Delights
During the cocktail hour, guests were treated to delicious hors d’oeuvres masterfully created by Lost Mountain BBQ Catering. Lemonade cocktails were served by Tip Top Tap Truck & Mobile Tap Bars, adding a refreshing twist to the celebration.
The first look at the reception was the King’s Table, revealed as guests stepped through the glass double doors. The centerpiece featured multiple low flower arrangements in white milk glass compotes, accented with twisted pink candles in two large clear candelabras. Each place setting was topped with a beautiful and realistic sugar magnolia, crafted by Edible Sugar Art. Grand Event Center built a Chuppah with a hanging chandelier surrounding the table, creating an oasis for the couple and their wedding party.
Guests found their places using a lighted seating chart with bowed table placements, designed by Blissful Design & Décor Wedding Rentals. The custom French Toile design carried on to the four-tier show-stopping cake created by Tiers of Heaven, adorned with handmade sugar flowers.
Relaxing in the Outdoors
The wedding party and guests alike enjoyed a seating area provided by Something Borrowed under the shade of large trees in the back lawn. They sipped on more lemonade and champagne cocktails, while the bride and groom drank from engraved champagne glasses etched by Enchanted Lanterns.
As the celebration drew to a close, each guest received a favor of a mini bottle of champagne provided by the 1762 Wine & Brew, along with a Shenandoah Fine Chocolates blueberry chocolate truffle. The happy couple was then sent off in a gleaming white horse-drawn carriage, driven by Classic Carriage LLC, ending the day with an enchanting farewell.
