THIS COUPLE WENT TO THE ST. ALBERT CARNIVAL FOR THEIR WEDDING DAY AND ITS ADORABLE
Jessica + Kevin are super adorable. Their wedding day was a beautiful classic affair but they wanted to stay true to their inner child so they went to a travelling fun fair! The Amusement Park kept the bridal party entertained with food and games and everyone enjoyed the Swing of the Century – even when Jessica’s dress started to have its own Marilyn Monroe moment as the swing went faster and climbed higher!
“There is no way I will forget walking down the aisle with my parents and looking straight ahead at Kevin standing there, he looked nervous and was holding back tears. I remember once he reached into his pocket for a tissue, I lost it. I told myself not to ugly cry down the aisle but it happened.” Jessica explained.
“The creatives photo shoot at the St. Albert carnival was amazing, I can’t believe I went on a Ferris wheel and the Swing of the Century in my wedding dress!! I don’t think a lot of brides can say that, and we have picture evidence!”
“The morning after.. Kevin and I both woke up in our hotel room like we were in the movie The Hangover. We had no idea what had happened, or how we got to our hotel room, or who stripped and changed our clothes. My contacts were taken out, most of my makeup was removed, all the bobby pins from my wedding up-do was out of my hair, and I was changed into my pjs. I was obviously taken amazing care of when I was completely out of it, best family and friends ever.” she added.

Why We LOVE the idea of a Wedding at St. Albert Carnival
Weddings are meant to be magical, but a wedding at St. Albert Carnival? That’s pure enchantment wrapped in a swirl of fun. Imagine this: your first dance under a canopy of stars, with the twinkling lights of a Ferris wheel as your backdrop. It’s like stepping into a dream—only better, because you get to share it with everyone you love.
There’s something undeniably charming about saying “I do” in a place that’s designed to celebrate joy. Carnivals have a way of bringing out the kid in all of us, don’t they? It’s as if the air is thick with the scent of nostalgia, with a side of popcorn, of course. When you think about it, what better way to kick off a marriage than by embracing that same sense of adventure and whimsy? Life, after all, is one big ride, and a wedding at the carnival is the perfect metaphor for the journey ahead—full of ups, downs, and a few thrilling twists.
Now, let’s talk about the photo ops because, let’s be honest, that’s half the fun of planning a wedding. The colors, the lights, the candid smiles of guests winning prizes at the game booths—each shot is more magical than the last. I’ve seen my fair share of wedding albums, but nothing quite captures the spirit of celebration like a couple laughing in front of a carousel or sneaking a kiss by the cotton candy stand.
But here’s the thing: a carnival wedding isn’t just about the aesthetics. It’s about breaking the mold, tossing aside tradition, and saying, “This day is going to be as unique as our love story.” Sure, some might argue that a more conventional venue offers elegance and sophistication, but does it offer pure, unadulterated fun? I think not. Plus, there’s something deeply symbolic about starting your forever in a place that’s all about embracing the unexpected. Marriage is, after all, a bit of a rollercoaster—a thrilling, sometimes terrifying, but always rewarding ride.
What I’ve learned from attending and planning countless weddings is that the best ones are those that truly reflect the couple’s personality. And if you’re the kind of duo who values fun, adventure, and a touch of the unexpected, then St. Albert Carnival is calling your name. You see, a wedding should be more than just a ceremony; it should be an experience that your guests will talk about for years to come. And trust me, no one forgets a wedding where the bouquet toss happens from the top of a Ferris wheel.
In the end, what I love most about the idea of a wedding at St. Albert Carnival is its ability to blend the sacred with the playful. It’s a day of commitment and love, but it’s also a day of laughter, joy, and maybe even a few carnival games. Because at the heart of it all, a wedding is a celebration, and what better place to celebrate than at the most joyful place you can find?
