The Wedding Salon: A Review of the beautiful wedding fair in Beverly Hills
What a fantastic evening we had on Monday! Being in the bridal industry means we attend wedding fairs on a regular basis but there was no way that we could anticipate how big, beautiful and fabulous this wedding show at the SLS Hotel would be!
We arrived in Beverly Hills and were instantly blown away by the first room we entered; it featured brides on podiums modelling dresses by the talented designer ‘R.mine’ whose gowns were unique and elegant and attracted everybody’s attention in the room!
As we continued into ‘The Cocktail Room’; we were met with an instant sense of atmosphere, the lights were dim but beautiful and the music pumping through the room added an ultra cool feel to the evening. Our attention was instantly drawn to a beautiful dress that was being showcased around the room by designer ‘Tulerie’. The collection of dress’s that he had on show were completely stunning and we were thrilled to meet him in person.
The cocktail room gave us the opportunity to chat with various wedding vendors, some specialising in wedding rings and jewellery, others in vintage accessories and even hen parties to Vegas!
One of the dress designers that particularly left a lasting impression on us was Deborah Lindquist, we were drawn straight to her by the gorgeous vintage cashmere and beaded wool winter dress that was being modelled at her stand and as soon as we found out the dress’s were up-cycled, recycled and eco friendly we were instantly sold! Not only were her dresses lovely but so was she, we found Deborah incredibly inspiring and was even more thrilled when she offered us one of her dresses to photograph at Yosemite this weekend! Stay posted for a wintery forest inspired bridal shoot!
The Reception room was our next stop and what awaited us was a huge selection of beautifully decorated tables by various vendors, destination weddings and photo booth hire!
There were many themes embellishing the different tables including candles, roses and exotic destination table settings.
We even got to meet Wildflower Linen; the company who provided the linen & décor for the famous film wedding between Edward Cullen & Isabelle Swan in the Twilight: Breaking dawn!
Of course we couldn’t resist a trip to the photo booth by ‘Snap Yourself‘ filled with tons of fun props!…
Have a gorgeous weekend!
Much Bespoke Love
