Jess & Jin: A Hyde Park Engagement

I am a sucker for an old love story so Jess and Jin were an instant hit with me. After 9 Months of a VERY long distance relationship (Jin lived the in London and Jess in Singapore) the couple were finally engaged on their vacation in Kerala in December of 2012. The couple were lucky enough to have the award winning Marianne Taylor as their photographer on the day and we have to say she has done a great job this shoot is so cute!

I’ll let Jess tell the rest of her story…

Jin proposed while we were in Munnar (an old hill station) at sunset overlooking a beautiful valley. We chose London for our engagement shoot as Jin had previously stayed there for a decade and we had spent a great summer there in 2010 before Jin moved to Singapore to be with me. We chose Marianne Taylor as our photographer as we loved her style and aesthetics – her photos have a very romantic and natural feel to them. We both love greenery and so Marianne suggested we do the shoot at Hyde Park. There wasn’t a particular theme for our shoot but we wanted something fun and simple so we brought along a few props. We were very happy that it was a sunny day and the photos turned out great!
