Off The Record: Dinners, Dogs & Damian Marley…

Yay! It’s the bank holiday! What have you got planned? Hope it’s fabulous! I’ve been trying to get back into my healthy eating this week and i’ve gotta admit, it’s been pretty boring. I need to spice it up a bit I feel, dinner is never a problem, it’s just breakfast and lunch I struggle with! Anyone got any healthy food ideas for me? Your recommendations would be much appreciated! Also, if someone knows some sort of fat free salted popcorn that would be great, because that seems to be my downfall! ha! On another note, Bristol has opened an awesome exhibition called Gromit Unleashed which me & Emily are both loving! (who couldn’t love lots of random statues of Gromit anyway?!) So if you’re wondering why our Instagram is starting to fill up with pictures of the lovable dog then it’s because we’re on the hunt to find all 80 of them! So far we’ve found 5…so only 75 more to go! If you’re in the Bristol area and spot any let us know!

♥ My other half’s new website for his videography business! I couldn’t be more proud and cannot wait to see him grow and see what he achieves in the future with this new adventure! Go and check out Just Say Yes Films and let me know what you think!

♥ Bank holiday weekends! Especially when it means our family friends from London are visiting. Isn’t it nice when you stay in contact with people who you bond with on holiday? We’ve been visiting these guys back and forth for years and I love how we all made the effort to stay in contact!

♥ Vegetable stir fry. I mean, I’ve always loved it but just stopped cooking it for a while, but now I’m hooked again!

♥ ‘The Help‘. I watched this film for the first time the other night and absolutely loved it! It made me laugh and cry, which is always a sign of a great heartwarming movie!

♥ Roast dinner at my Nan’s house. Nan’s tend to make the best roast dinner don’t they? Ok and mums do!

♥ Katy Perry’s new song, I can’t get enough of it!! Also on repeat seems to be (brace yourself) Miley Cryus-We can’t stop. Oh my god, did I just say that on the internet.

Emily Loves…

♥ Starting our search for Gromit at Cabot circus. Gromit Unleashed is a public art exhibition with lots of giant Gromit sculptures all painted by different artists. We found three the other night and there are 80 all together so only 77 to find on Monday. Eeeek I am so excited! walking shoes at the ready…

♥ Wagamamas – the food there is delicious!

♥ Watching the last episode of ‘Top of the Lake’, I have been totally gripped by the series. Now what am I going to watch, I’m going to be lost?

♥ Planning my birthday trip to Sweden with Mr T, to see my best friend. I can’t wait to see her I have missed her so much!

♥ My new found appreciation of Damian Marley, my friend mentioned him to me and I have not been able to get ‘Welcome to Jamrock’ out of my head since.
