Off The Record: Tourists, Thames & Teapots
Oh my gosh, I have had such an amazing week! One of my highlights was taking Andrea and her Mum to London to be proper tourists for the day!! We got to watch the sunset on the London Eye, which I had never been on before and it was seriously breath taking! Did you know you can get married on the London Eye too?! Definitely something unique! We also went to a viewing point on Wednesday which looked over the whole Forest Of Dean and it was so beautiful because of all of the Autumn trees. I really don’t think you realise what a beautiful place you live in until you show someone around and find the best places! What do you think? Do you have a few hidden gems of amazing places where you live?
Also, on another note…a dear friend of ours is launching a fabulous new photo booth and we would love for you to help support her like we are! I mean come on…who wouldn’t love a glittery and gorgeous photo booth?! The best news if you’re bride and groom looking to book the photo booth for next year and you pledge you’ll receive a whopping discount off your booking! Sound awesome? We thought so…you can find out more here!
Here’s what else we’ve been loving this week…

♥ Having the final design for the homepage of The Online Wedding Show come through and almost crying with happiness!! Me and Emily had a mini celebratory yelp of excitement and seriously cannot wait to launch this new service!
♥ Spending the day in London with Andrea! It was bloody freezing but so worth it!!! We even took a boat ride down the Thames!
♥ Eating traditional English food all week so that our friends from Mexico experience it all! We’ve had an abundance of tea, fish & chips, English breakfast, roast dinner and scones!
♥ Realising it’s less than 6 weeks until Christmas! OMG….definitely time to start watching the Christmas films! Home Alone anyone? The Holiday? The Grinch! Love Actually! You can bet I’ll be snuggled up watching these ASAP!
♥ Popping into Mary Rose Young pottery shop and getting to have a chat with Mary Rose Young herself! She’s so lovely and so is her absolutely STUNNING designs! Seriously, go to her website right now and immerse yourself in pottery that looks like it’s been brought straight out of Alice In Wonderland! I can’t promise you wont fall in love with a teapot or two though…
♥ Having an authentic Mexican meal cooked for us by Andrea’s Mum! We ate Chilaquiles and it was DELICIOUS!
♥ Seeing the Christmas adverts for the first time!!! I LOVE the bear and the hare from John Lewis and the fairy tale filled ad from Marks & Spencer!

♥ I know Jess has already said it but seeing The Online Wedding Show come to life this week has been amazing, finally all our visions are being realised and there is nothing more satisfying!
♥ Some of you will know that I am a huge fan of Gabrielle Bernstein and this week I made it my mission to start my journey into successful meditation. I was honestly astounded at the effects of my first meditation session, it really did feel like a huge weight was lifted of my shoulders and for the first time in months I was able to spend the day completely relaxed and enjoying my own company. This is usually something I really struggle to as my mind is so active.
♥ Catching up with all my old school friends for some Italian food and a couple of drinks was seriously the highlight of my week, I haven’t laughed like that in such a long time 🙂
♥ Baking Oreo Cheesecake! It was so yummy!
♥ The support we have received from friends on Twitter this week to help create goody bags for the #bespokebridebirthdaybash on Tuesday has been seriously overwhelming, you guys are all totally awesome. We have some super ace goody bags for all our guests!
