Off the Record: Celebrating Christmas with Catnip and Cake Pops
Wow that happened fast! Can you believe Christmas is over already and we will soon be in 2014. Me and Jess have spent some time this week going through all our 2013 achievements and we were honestly blown away by all that happened, I can only imagine what 2014 is going to hold for us, but I have this crazy gut feeling that it is going to be totally amazing!
So here we are at our last ever Off the Record of 2013 so lets make it a good one!

♥ Christmas decorations! Many of you will have had your decs up for weeks but I only put mine up a week ago so I am still excited about turning the christmas tree lights on. I feel like the house is so much more cosier with Christmas decorations up, I think I might have to leave them up until summer? What do you think??
♥ Spending Christmas day with my family. Christmas day is also my mums birthday so it is the turn of the men in the family to do the cooking for the day. This year both my dad and brother played chef and I have to admit it was awesome, the best christmas dinner yet!
♥ All the wonderful gifts I was given by family and friends, I am so thankful! I am now officially part of the onesie club and can definitely see why there is so much hype surrounding them. Mine has not come off since christmas evening, they are just so darn comfy!
♥ Michael Jackson’s the making of ‘This is It’. I am not an extra huge fan of Michael Jackson, I liked a lot of his music but I have to admit I didn’t know too much about him. After watching ‘This is It’, my opinion of him completely changed as I realised he shared many of my own beliefs and ethics. By the end of the show I was in tears, his last tour would have been the most amazing tour EVER and carried a message I hold very closely to my heart!
♥ Gala Darling’s new jewellery collection, Moxie. What a fantastic idea, I can’t wait to get my hands on those stacker rings.
♥ Hearing the news that one of my oldest friends got engaged on her 10th year anniversary. A huge congratulations Alaina & George, I am so happy for you!!

♥ Playing funny games with the family on Christmas day….with tequila as the forfeit!
♥ Baking up a huge amount of Christmas themed cake pops! I baked a batch of vanilla ones and a batch of red velvet ones and had tons of red and green and white edible sprinkles and toppers! It was pretty epic.
♥ Receiving such amazing presents from my family and friends, seriously, I feel so so lucky and blessed to have such awesome and thoughtful people in my life who know me so well!
♥ Packing and leaving for Cornwall to start the New Year celebrations! We’re all staying in a beautiful cottage down there until January 1st! Very very very exciting!!!
♥ Satchels!!! James bought me a beautiful pink satchel for Christmas and my nan bought me a lovely blue one too so I am completely kitted out now! Can’t wait to start wearing them!
♥ Thinking about 2014 and all of the exciting things we have planned. 2014 is definitely going to be our year!! I’m going to try this thing that my sister did this year where she kept an empty jam jar in her room and every time something seriously amazing happened to her or she experienced something wonderful, she wrote it down on a piece of paper and folded it up and popped it in the jar! She’s going to read them all on New Years Eve. I think it’s a fab idea!! It could be a really nice family tradition too, then at the end of the year you could all take turns in pulling something out of the jar and reading it aloud! Cute!
