Supplier Love: A Hope, A Dream & Part of The Bespoke Bride Team
If you’re new to Bespoke Bride then welcome to our monthly ‘Supplier Love’ feature! This blog post is all about our wonderful sponsors!! We would love for you to get to know the people and beautifully creative businesses in our sidebar a little better, so please, let us introduce you…
Meet Dale Weeks Photography
About me…
I love shooting people, musicians and artist.
But most of all I love shooting weddings for creative people with alternative ideas.
Tattoos, Bourbon Whiskey, Cactus plants. – the way to my heart.
I’m perfect for the Bespoke Bride because…
I work best in collaboration with my couples. If you have ideas and vision, then I can help to realise it for you on your wedding day. I shoot weddings from the inside out, so if you let me in and share your ideas with me then we will create something amazing together!
My Hopes and Dreams for 2014 are…
That all my couples are as awesome as last year. This is my second full year shooting weddings and I’m just hoping for an adventure, to travel and to make new friends!
Favourite bits from my blog…
My 2013 roundup post, a ‘best of’ last years highlights. Travel shots, shooting musicians, artists and beautiful couples in pretty places.

Meet Paper Arrow Press Stationery
A Little Bit About Me…
I’m Rachel Russell, I live in Edinburgh with my husband Ben and I run Paper Arrow Press. I design cool, creative & modern bespoke and personalised wedding stationery. I love exploring Edinburgh (I’m new here), visiting our brilliant local cinemas and cafes, and hiding from the weather with a good book and a cheeky gin and tonic. I love working for myself and it’s great meeting so many new clients though Paper Arrow Press.
I’m Perfect For The Bespoke Bride Readers Because…
My stationery designs are the perfect mix of pretty and cool just like Bespoke Bride! I love bold colours and strong typography mixed with vintage inspired touches. I love the fact that Paper Arrow Press is contacted by as many grooms-to-be as brides-to-be. It’s great designing for couples who are working together to plan their day and doing something a little different. Paper Arrow Press offers fully bespoke designs but even when a couple chooses a ready designed style we work together to personalise everything so that it’s just right for them.
My Hopes and Dreams for 2014 are…
In 2014 I would love to see Paper Arrow Press continue to go from strength to strength and to continue working with a wide range of inspiring couples! I really want to increase the number of personalised stationery collections available on the site as well as launching new products such as semi bespoke designs which allow couples to further customise their stationery with a bespoke monogram or image.
I’m excited to see how my latest personalised stationery collection Bourbon (launched earlier in January) does. It’s already getting lots of attention and I think it could be a best seller before long. I’m also looking forward to increasing the number of accessories available. Launching later this year will be products to add that fun final touch to a design including belly bands, tags and stickers.
Finally, in 2014 I am dreaming of a larger, more beautiful studio with a huge desk where I can surround myself with inspiration and design my stationery!

Meet Sarah Wayte Photography
A Little Bit About Me…
I’m Sarah, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Essex but willing to travel anywhere. I’m an offbeat, quirky kind of girl with a love of all things artsy and craftsy. I also love the colour purple, scones and clotted cream and antique shops and I have a fetish for notebooks which I try to suppress whenever I walk past a stationery shop… but it’s not working! I overuse exclamation marks but I’m also a bit of a grammar Nazi, I love words, lyrics and all things literature so if I’m not busy working then I’ve usually got my nose buried in a book. I make a pretty good scratch-post and general bed for my two cats, Lewie and Lola, as well.
I’m Perfect For The Bespoke Bride Readers Because…
I love all things quirky and all things wedding! I’m game for fresh ideas, things that are a little bit different and maybe even a little bit crazy, and I wholly believe the Bespoke Bride readers would be too. If you want to try something that you think is a bit off the wall, tell me about it, because I would love to give it a go!
My Hopes and Dreams for 2014 are…
To book more weddings, of course! Which in turn means I get to meet more fabulous brides and grooms, witness more beautiful weddings and sample more yummy wedding cake – hopefully 😉 I also hope to start getting my vintage cameras up and running more frequently too, something I’ve only dabbled in just recently. Lately, I’ve been dreaming about doing a styled wedding shoot which I’m hoping to collaborate on with small businesses in Essex and I hope that more ‘alternative’ wedding suppliers start basing themselves in this fab little county so brides don’t have to source things for their unique weddings elsewhere. Okay, I’m stopping now but I could go on…

Meet Scuffins Photography
A Little Bit About Me…
Hey I’m Chris! I’m an orange-haired photographer, and together with my partner and best friend Helen, we’re Scuffins Photography. We share our home in Gloucestershire with our two big, fluffy and lazy Ragdoll cats Ollie & Willow. Besides photography, life is filled with good, loud music and getting lost on weekend walks in the Cotswolds. More often than not, it’s just the two of us, which is why we love making friends through photography. As for me, I’m a geek, and proud of it; I find the biggest inspiration out of the smallest details. I’m super positive, adventurous and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I’m man enough to admit I’m a totally hopeless romantic.
I’m Perfect For The Bespoke Bride Readers Because…
…we absolutely love this stuff. We figure you have to have two things to be a wedding photographer. A love of photography. Trust me, we’ve got that. Our house contains more cameras than pairs of shoes.
And the other is a love of well, love. That’s what weddings are about. Stories of love. Love between family, between friends. Between our lovely wonderful couples. Whether it be intense, emotional, tearful or joyful, or arms around each other laughing your lungs out love. We like surrounding ourselves with it, and that why we’re honoured to be there to photograph it. I told you I was a hopeless romantic didn’t I?
My Hopes and Dreams for 2014 are…
Oh, wow we have so much to look forward to in 2014! This summer will be our busiest ever with weddings, and it sometimes feels like we are going to explode with excitement. We’ve spent the last few months meeting and getting to know the nicest couples, hearing the sweetest stories of how they met and fell in love. We can’t wait to be there to capture their special days over the coming months.
As well as wedding photography, we’re in the early stages of planning some lovely styled shoots this spring, to work with some great local suppliers and give us a chance to photograph the other stuff we love about weddings, beautiful and cool and unique things!
Our biggest goals though for 2014, is to just see where this take us; to stay inspired, take risks and enjoy every single second.

Meet Photostories
A Little Bit About Me…
I’m a nice person. I like to read and to listen. I make a kick-ass meatloaf and I’m getting quite good with that stir-fry thing as well. My friends always accuse me of being quite difficult to drag out of the house and I have an obsession with pyjamas and succulents. And chicken.
I started taking pictures 8 years ago, started shooting weddings 6 years ago and officially opened my business only in 2012 (not sure why I waited that long). I have a tiny cactus that symbolises my career’s progress and I haven’t killed it yet, which is a good sign.
I’m Perfect For The Bespoke Bride Readers Because…
I like colours, I like bright lights and I feel way much more comfortable around people that smile and have a positive attitude. I like happy people. Although I’m quite better at it myself, I love when brides dive into the DYI world and try new and funky things for their wedding.
That’s how I envision Bespoke Bride’s readers to be, so you see? A match made in heaven!
My Hopes and Dreams for 2014 are.. .
I want to travel. Although I’m not one for long soggy walks and trainers, I do love to visit new places and try local food. I like to take pictures of things so I need new things to photograph.
I want to undertake more personal projects and styled shoots, and if in all this I could feet some more reading-time I would gladly pat myself on the back and whisper ‘well done you’.

Meet Charm Cat Stationery
A Little Bit About Me…
I’m impulsive, creative, and just the right amount of obsessive. I’ve been into art since I was little. I earned my bachelor’s in art and work as a professional graphic designer part-time to have money to invest in my business. I’ve always had a thing for print design, but I got the idea to turn my passion into a business after my own wedding, when I realized there were no more invites to design or programs to make or guest books to assemble. In the brief moments when I’m not glued to the computer, I love to write, read, take photos, knit, paint, and annoy my cats with hugs.
I’m Perfect For The Bespoke Bride Readers Because…
I feel I have a unique, quirky style that makes my designs stand out. I take inspiration from wedding trends, but I strive to make them fresh and special to my brand. All of my art is done by me, from the rustic, friendly drawings in my Chalkboard suite (which can be mixed and matched, by the way!), to the hand-painted Watercolor Collection florals. I’m also a big DIY fan, so my designs have a lot of room for personalization and embellishment once they reach you. My favorite orders are the ones where the client wants to do something different and fun.
My Hopes and Dreams for 2014 are…
Huge! Professionally, I have huge plans. I’m adding several new invitation suites this year, expanding into greeting cards (coming this February, just in time for Valentine’s Day!), and building a super-functional website. This is truly my passion (or obsession if you ask my husband), so my biggest hope is to be able to transition to full-time self-employment.
My Favourite Bits From My Blog Are…
My How-Tos. Blogging is still new to me, so I only have a few entries so far. When I worked on my own invitations, I spent hours trying to find the answers to what I thought were simple questions. So one of my recurring blog categories is going to be How-Tos. Two how-tos I’ve done so far are Printing Invites at Home and Picking the Right Paper.
