Off The Record: London, Lunches & Loving Life!

Happy Sunday you beautiful lot! Have you had a great week?? Me & Emily kicked ours off in London where we attended a brilliant event ran by Mr & Mrs Smith! We don’t want to give-away too much because we’ll be giving you a behind the scenes video on our YouTube channel very soon! Jess Loves…

♥ Taking road trips with James. We went to Rhayader which is where we spent Valentines day 2 years ago, it’s such a cool place and the damns are truly amazing!! We also stopped off for some high tea on the way home at a lovely posh hotel! Like crazy posh though, we were a little afraid to talk to ruin the silence! lol But everything was yum!

♥ Finding cute postcards in Paper Chase! They’ve got some beautiful colourful typography cards in there at the moment, I bought a wad ready to go in frames! – Awesome for a future gallery wall too!

♥ This series of beautiful gay couples shot all around the world. Such a breathtaking & stunning set of shots.

♥ Spending a couple of days in London at the beautiful Ampersand Hotel & attending Mr & Mrs Smith’s honeymoon event at Blakes hotel! We were treated to a display of some seriously awesome hotel rooms! Not to mention some delicious canapés and great company!

♥ Eating lunch outside for the first time this year! It felt SO GOOD to sit in a nice beer garden and have a chilled day yesterday! Come on summer…I’m desperately waiting for you!

Emily Loves…

♥ As Jess mentioned we had an awesome time staying at the Ampersand Hotel in London this week. This is one seriously cute hotel. I fell in love with all the science quotes on the walls the, games room with old school board games, the quirky decor, the bird book by my bed…. the list is endless!

♥ The Mr & Mrs Smith Event was so much being fun, we took a tour of Blakes hotel which was amazing! The rooms are out of this world! Each room was themed differently and it was almost impossible to pick a favourite, if you get the chance to visit Blakes you really must, it is easy to see why it was chosen as the perfect place to hold the Mr and Mrs Smith Event.

♥ The sun!!! I have been relishing every single moment outside, I hope you have been too. I think spending time outdoors is so important for your health and wellbeing. I feel most at home in the great outdoors listening to the birds singing and breathing in the fresh air. Bliss

♥ David Gillesepie’s Sweet Poison! I have only started reading the first few pages but I have to say it has completely changed my outlook on sugar. I know there is a huge hype around the amount of sugar we eat at the moment but I really think its time we take a look at our diets and what we put in our bodies. I am sure you will be hearing more from me on this subject for quite some time to come.

♥ Cardio Barre! So as you can probably tell this week I am really trying to get back on my fitness train. The sun coming out has given me a whole new lease of life, so lets hope it sticks around. Cardio Barre was high last year in America and as of yet I am still trying to find classes in my area, so for now I am sort of self teaching myself at home and I love it! For those of you who don’t know what it is, Cardio Barre is an intense, no impact exercise that includes elements of ballet and dance with a barre.
