Supplier Love: Get Creative, Drink Some Wine & Share the Love!
Can you believe it is already the last day of February! Time really does fly when you are having fun and this month our suppliers have been having lots of it! Those of you that are new to Bespoke Bride, welcome to our ‘Supplier Love’. Every month we catch up with some of the sponsors that grace our sidebar to find out what they have been up to so that you can get to know them a little better. As February was the month of lurve we asked a few of them what they love about their job and here is what they had to say…

Meet Hollyhock Lane
About me…
I’m Julie and I live in Lewes, East Sussex with my husband and 18 month old daughter. I’ve recently launched my little stationery studio ‘Hollyhock Lane’ which is all about beautifully hand drawn and painted wedding stationery (with other celebration stationery coming soon). I just love to create pictures so my stationery always has lots of illustrations and hand lettering, as I feel there is far too much, mass produced, template and stock image based wedding stationery out there. It just feels like you’ve seen it all before, too many times, and that’s frankly… boring.
Why you think you are perfect for Bespoke Brides?
Because when you buy one of my designs, you are actually buying a small piece of art. I originally did my BA in fine art at Edinburgh before going down the graphic design and illustration route. I’ve continued to paint alongside my design and illustration work and all my stationery designs start out on paper first – hand drawn and hand painted. One of the many things I love about my job is doing a bespoke design, tailored for the couple’s own unique story and wedding day theme. It’s not uncommon for couples wanting to frame their artwork afterwards, as it becomes such a special visual representation of their big day and their story. I’m guessing Bespoke Brides would particularly love this service!
Three fave things from my blog…
One of my top selling ready to print designs is the ‘Hazy Woodland’ design. We ourselves had a woodland wedding ceremony which was the inspiration behind the design, so I decided to do a ‘woodland wedding’ themed post on the blog with lots of decoration ideas to carry the theme throughout the day. It was also very exciting to run the competition with Bespoke Bride and one lucky winner has indeed won 100 wedding invites which I’m just about to package up and send out to her tomorrow. And finally, although Valentine’s day has been and gone, my wishlish still stands. You can never have enough pretties.

Meet Dale Weeks Photography
About me…
I love shooting people, musicians and artist.
But most of all I love shooting weddings for creative people with alternative ideas.
Tattoos, Bourbon Whiskey, Cactus plants. – the way to my heart.
I’m perfect for the Bespoke Bride because…
I work best in collaboration with my couples. If you have ideas and vision, then I can help to realise it for you on your wedding day. I shoot weddings from the inside out, so if you let me in and share your ideas with me then we will create something amazing together!
As February is the month of love we want to know what is it you love most about your job?

Meet Sarah Wayte Photography
About me…
Bespoke Bride readers are obviously after something a little different. I believe they are not “traditional” brides and definitely have more quirky, offbeat desires for their wedding days! In which case, I’m definitely the girl for them 😉 Besides that, I get excited about all things wedding (you can tell by the amount of exclamation marks I use – best punctuation mark ever!!), love nothing more than to gas about any wedding related topic over a hot chocolate and piece of cake for hours on end and walk around at every wedding I photograph with the biggest grin on my face 😀
What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?
It’s an industry centred around one of the happiest occasions in any persons life – what can be better than that? The fact that my job gives me the warm fuzzies every single day is reason enough, I think, to love it. But if I had to say more… well, let’s see – wedding dresses, shoes (!!), hugs and kisses, beautiful venues, fantastic food, laughter and wrinkle-inducing smiles.. oh, I could go on!
Three favourite bits from my blog are…
A Vintage Afternoon Tea Party Wedding, A blog about my own wedding day, Favourite links all about cats 🙂

Meet Bea Alfresco Weddings
About me…
BeA Alfresco Wedding is a youth and small wedding agency based in Tuscany.
I’m Beatrice, the founder and owner. Being a wedding planner is the fusion and culmination of experience gained over the years, combining my knowledge of the Tuscan area and my expertise in tourism with a passion for planning. My ongoing search for style aims to always have new ideas to build bespoke projects by listening to the needs of each couple.
I like white and its idea of pureness and simplicity but I love even colours that bring passion and happiness, I love flowers and candles and fairy lights arrangements, they created the right atmosphere all around.
In any case, there is nothing best and impressive than a sun rising in a Tuscan magic land with a good glass of red wine, together with your husband to be. We say, start your forever after under the Tuscan sky…
Why you think you are perfect for our Bespoke Brides?
A bespoke bride is a woman who is not satisfied with the package already built, but want to design something unique and special for her Big day.
Since no wedding is alike each ceremony represents a combination of dreams, desires and personality that embodies the style of a couple. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know the wishes of a couple and how they envision their perfect day. We do not have “standardized” wedding proposals, we will create your wedding simply starting from your ideas and your style.
I love to get moved in front of a true love, and I love when the bride comes and tears come too in my eyes: it is always a big emotion.
Your three favourite things from your blog this month:
The wine wedding, a wedding based on wine and on the love for it. Have it in Tuscany is a must: we can organize an exclusive wedding in the most famous Tuscany wine farms, where famous wines such the Chianti or the Brunello are produced. We can even organize the ceremony among the barrels in the cellars.
What do you love most about your job?
I love my job because it embodies all my passions, such welcoming travellers and tourists, letting them know my land, designing, and… food and wine! Also, I love to be part of the most important day for two people who decide to start their forever after: it is such a responsibility, but such a joy as well.
