Off The Record: Meals, Movies & Meeting Mushu!
Can you believe we are in the middle of yet another bank holiday! This has to be on of my most favourite times of the year as I get to spend so much time with Mr T, whether it be going on day trips, pottering in the garden, walking the dog or visiting family, it’s just so nice to do these things with him. The sun has been glorious so we have been making full use of it and today is my mum and dads 29th Wedding anniversary so we will be cooking a meal for them together – Mr T will be in charge of the chicken of course!
Have fun reading through todays loves, then I urge you to step away from your phones, laptops, tablets etc and make time to go outside, see friends, family, cuddle a pet…. Make memories!

♥ Meeting Jess’s new addition to the family – Mushu the puppy! He is so adorable and cuddly, just like a little teddy bear!
♥ Going to see ‘The Other Woman’ with my old housemate Char! It was so hilariously funny – girls you have to go and see it!
♥ Circuits! I have been spending so much time at the gym lately and I keep finding all these new classes to try. This week was circuits and although it was tremendously difficult, I couldn’t help but laugh! As the instructor said though ‘If you have time to laugh, your not working hard enough, ten more press ups!’ – certainly wiped the smile off my face 😀
♥ Ditching the car and walking. It was a lovely sunny day and instead of driving into town, Mr T asked if I would like to take a walk with him – how could I resist when he asks so nicely!
♥ My nans cheese on toast! When I was little and I used to stay at her’s she would always make the best cheese on toast. Well this week I stayed with her again for the night and the next morning I woke to the smell of that glorious cheese on toast again – why do nan’s always do it better?
♥ Watching Walter Mitty with Mr T, his homemade burgers and a nice cold glass of cider – bliss! I loved the film and felt like it had some awesome messages to share. It was about taking risks, making discoveries and always being in the moment – the perfect recipe for life!

♥ Getting a puppy!! Oh my gossssshhhh he is the cutest little thing! We got him for my sisters 18th birthday and he’s so affectionate & lovely, he just falls asleep on me all the time 🙂
♥ Having a BBQ! Granted it was raining outside but there is something so nice about food cooked on a BBQ!
♥ Staying overnight in fancy hotels! I photographed James’ uncles wedding this week and he put us up for the night in a lovely hotel in Clevedon!
♥ Catching up on Masterchef! There are people with some serious skills on there this year! Loving it!
♥ Watching ‘Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging’ for the first time 😀 I was laughing my socks off! She was exactly like me with my friends when we were younger. Worrying about what boys said and whether we were old enough to wear a bra or not? Ha Ha
