A Bohemian Teaparty Bridal Shower
Something we don’t see very often on Bespoke Bride is a styled bridal shower, I don’t know if it’s because bridal showers are not as popular over here in the UK or whether if we do them we just don’t really go to town on the styling but I think we should! It’s such a lovely idea and I absolutely love the bohemian styling in this shoot, not only is it pretty but it’s also ultra cool. Over to photographer Angela Winsor to tell you more…
“I stumbled across the most beautiful, vintage tea set while at a local thrift store. It was covered in flowers in shades of cobalt blue, and I was immediately inspired to shoot these beautiful pieces! While this particular tea set didn’t make it into our actual shoot, the idea snow-balled into the full blown shoot of my dreams, allowing me to go a little crazy with all my beloved bohemian details. Crystal of Little and La Events was a perfect partner to bring this bohemian tea party to life. Her love of vintage and DIY details and my love for colors and all things natural made for a gorgeous shoot that could actually be re-created by our brides. With giant a home-made dream catcher, the sweetest cobalt blue cake, DIY flower arrangements in vintage and thrifted tea pots, I was so happy with the results and couldn’t put down my camera! Carefully cluttered displays with beautifully disheveled arrangement took our real-life brides maids (including my own maid of honor!) to a beautiful bohemian retreat for the afternoon. The juxtaposition of the sweet tea party details (the tea napkins, vintage tea cups, sugar cubes, macaroons, etc.) and the wilder elements of bohemia (mix-matched tableware, colorful flowers, painted tea spoons, hints of cobalt, feather drink stirrers, etc.) made this shoot so fun”

I am just so so so in love with this! It just makes me want to hurry to the craft shop and make my own dream catcher!
Much Bespoke Love

My fave details: flowers in the wine bottles, the dream catcher, and dainty teacups. I heart bohemia!
LOVE! This is right up my alley! My girls threw me something similar, with the vintage tea sets, but not as bohemian 🙂 xo
Isn’t it so dreamy!!!
