Off The Record: Countdowns, Cocktails & Cabot Circus!
Yay! The sun is shining! And it’s Sunday! The perfect end to a pretty perfect week I must say, not only was it my birthday on Wednesday but I got the girls together last night for a well deserved night out and the cocktails were flowing amazingly! Me & Em mixed up a delicious cream soda cocktail to kick off the celebrations then once we got into town they slowly turned into mojitos, purple rains & pimms! Cheers to that!

Jess Loves:
♥ Shopping with Lydia on my Birthday, we headed to cabot circus and I got some lovely things ready for the Maldives! Is it me or has the high street really gone to town with amazing clothes this summer? The shops were filled with beautiful things! I may have spent a tad too much money though…I had that ‘Ahhh screw it, it’s my Birthday ‘ attitude! Ah well…YOLO. Did I just say yolo? You’re god dam right I did…
♥ Lauren bringing us loads of cake pops last night! Cake pops + cocktails = WIN!
♥ How thoughtful Emily is with her gifts! She got me a Maldives goodie bag with sandals, an awesome clutch and #girlboss to read on the beach! I Cannot wait to get stuck into that book!
♥ Watching Maleficent! I absolutely LOVED it! Angelina Jolie is such an amazing woman, and she looks even better with wings! ha! I really enjoyed this article about her too, it talks about her perfect game with publicity, but I just really like reading about all the wonderful things she’s done with her life and how many people she’s helped.
♥ Getting a pasta maker from James! We always cook pasta and now we get to make our own!
♥ Being given a Mary Rose Young mug and vase for my birthday, I absolutely love her pottery and creations and now i have two! I am going to display them so proudly!
Emily Loves:
♥ Crispy Kale! I think I might be addicted and it makes the perfect snack!
♥ Double date night with my brother and his girlfriend. We had quite a lot of fun reminiscing and sharing stories about one another. You can always depend on your sibling to remind of your most cringe-worthy moments that you hoped no one would ever know, thanks Jon! 😀
♥ Finalising the details of our dates for our Maldives trip – we can officially start countdown now only 9 DAYS TO GO!!!
♥ Celebrating Donut day with a scrummy Krispy Kreme – it would be rude not to!
♥ Buying a new dress! There is nothing like a bit of retail therapy to make a girl feel good!
♥ Hitting the town with the girls this weekend to celebrate Jess’s birthday! One of the highlights had to be the delicious cream soda cocktails that we made to start the night off, they were seriously yum!!
