A Glamourous Botanical styled Shoot + 10% Discount to Bespoke Bride Readers!!
Today’s styled shoot is pretty darn pin-worthy if I might say so myself. Weddings with a natural, organic feel instantly get my attention. I am a real outdoorsy girl at heart and love nothing more than bringing the outdoors inside, which is probably why my house is always full of plants and flowers. When Sara from Ruby & Diva contacted us to say she had created a styled shoot in honour of her new rebrand I was very excited to see what she had come up with.
The results as you will see are very beautiful and we are totally thrilled to be sharing the images with you today. Over to creative director Carrie to tell you a little more…
“The ethos behind the new Ruby & Diva Weddings boutique is to offer brides-to-be a range of eclectic and simply beautiful pieces that have timeless appeal.
As stylists, we wanted to create our own unique collection of bridal pieces that would be exclusive to Ruby & Diva. We asked a mixture of emerging and established designers to work with us on creating a collection that works together as a whole, yet each piece can stand alone.
As the new Creative Director I was thrilled to start work on this exclusive collection, especially as so many fantastic designers were able to collaborate with us.
The moodboard ‘glamorous botanical’ emerged from seeing botanical influences in interiors and stationery and I thought it had the elegant, classic feel we were looking for. The colours and shapes work so well for weddings and I love the idea of ‘bringing the outside in’. Mix in some old-school glamour and you have our new collection!
There are pieces that are a little unexpected too, like the gold birdcage veil from Debbie Carlisle and the super flattering stone coloured ‘Eden’ dress by Cristina Adami with a quirky little honey-bee belt detail. Much of the collection is vintage-inspired and our fashion stylist sourced a fantastic vintage emerald dress to add into the shoot.
The Institute of Contemporary Arts in Pall Mall, London, provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot, with its classic lines, gorgeous grey walls and iconic views of London glimpsed through the windows.
We had a fantastic day working with Lily and Jasmine Photography, they were a joy to work with and we were so happy with the images we created.”
