DIY Festival Flag Cake Topper
If you’re looking for a really quick and easy cake topper then we have the perfect DIY for you today! This festival flag cake topper only requires 3 items too so it’s super cheap to make! All you’ll need is:
Floral wire // Scissors // A selection of washi tape (ours was from Paperchase) //
STEP 1: Cut your floral wire to the length you desire then roll out and cut your washi tape to the length of around 2 inches. Next, pop your floral wire in the centre.
STEP 2: Next fold the washi tape over onto itself to secure around the wire.
STEP 3: Cut into the shape of a triangle
STEP 4: Repeat with your next piece of washi tape, this time making the triangle longer and thinner.
STEP 5: Keep going until your wire is filled with mini triangles creating a festival flag effect!
STEP 6: Finally bend the floral wire slightly to one side to create a ‘windy’ look to the flag then pop it into your cake!
