A Quirky & Fun Engagement Shoot in Valentines Park
Aww I have such a fun and adorable engagement session to share with you today! Meet Alan & Lilly, two lovely people who were introduced through friends when they were in their teens, fast forward a few years and they were together, now they’re happily married and the story of how Alan proposed is beyond sweet…
“Me & Alan met through friends when we were teenagers and got together a few years later! I have dance class every Sunday with my friend- Alan asked her to keep me out after class while he prepared our home with candles, balloons, roses and a romantic little game (cos I love games!). So when I came home I picked up the rose from the floor with a note which began a sweet journey of little notes he prepared for me… him at the end with a nervous speech and a ring he’s hid in the house for over a year and I never spotted!
Our engagement was pretty quick, we got engaged in January and we married this July. We knew we wanted a summer wedding and was too excited to wait to next year! We chose Valentines park for our engagement shoot because we both love going outdoors when the weather allows us to. Since we moved nearby more than a year ago we always cycled in the park, had picnics there and often go there for a walk when we’re free. It has a lovely garden with an area full of lavenders and a beautiful mansion- so, why not? We didn’t particularly think about theming the shoot- just picked up a couple of things we had around our home, I think that sums it up really!”

The yellow balloon and the confetti shots have to be my favourite! I just love how Alan & Lily had so much fun with it all, don’t you?!
Much Bespoke Love
