1. Add gifts from anywhere — seriously! Thankful is an “open platform” universal registry. Here’s how it works: you add gifts using the bookmarklet (which works like the Pinterest Pin) and they’ll appear on your registry like magic. It took us two seconds to install this and once we headed over to our favourite retail shops we saw how easy it was to add items to our registry!

It’s pretty, but the fact that I have to type the name of each product and the price – is annoying and time-consuming. AND then I’m guessing the price can’t update. It’s 2016 – how hard is it to code to link to the original source – so the info updates and so there’s no need to cut and paste/type product info.

We have been extremely disappointed with Thankful and would be very hesitant to use this. Multiple problems have occurred for us, including double charging our guests. 7 couples have given us a gift but no money was transferred (by thankful). In addition, one guest was charged but thankful argued it didn’t go through and then wouldn’t refund them after they gave us cash. Honestly, a birdcage is easier!
