Man, we love pineapples and summer picnics so a styled shoot that combined the two was A OK in our books! Since the location, Ronit Farm, is an exclusive venue for events, high standard and elegant, Zebra Music knew this collaboration needed to find a way to marry urban cool style with a beautifully formal venue and I would say they nailed it! This shoot proves you don’t have to combine a formal environment with formal styling…
“The goal was to bring the interesting encounter between both Zebra Music & Ronit Farm together, finding the fine line between the urban & cool and exclusive & formal. While we created the concept we were influenced by the summer for the shoot. Lots of pineapple, summer umbrellas and characteristic zebra music colors palette black and white with shining yellow. We set up The Perfect Picnic day for our urban models in the magical fresh venues across Ronit farm. With sweet, upbeat, playful music in the background adding to the atmosphere and good vibe.
We chose Moran Mayan, the talented photographer who wisely captures our couples in little moments of flirting, strong looks and spontaneous moments of humor. BDY makeup artists also emphasised the new trend of Bronze eyes. We shot easy going, cool and innovative couples, creating a look for a casual weekend wedding. Having fun in the sun on the raft and enjoying one another through rays of light. We wanted humorous romantic couples in current, natural looks. We loved the idea of playing with pineapples, flirting in the famous gazebo of Ronit Farm and enjoying the moment leaning on a chic Art Deco bar.
With the male models wearing stylish suits by David Sassoon and the beautiful female models wearing gorgeous gowns by LihiI Hod, we created a true accuracy between urban voice and pure elegance. The jewelry by Efrat Cassuto also emphasised the richness of the dresses. Ronit Farm has enchanted and soft corners which complimented our urban couples, we selected the most prominent real people to model: an attorney, stylist, flight attendant, Hi-tech technician, a nightlife entrepreneur and a sweet IDF officer to together create interesting and unexpected pairings.
Representing freshness and variety of contemporary couples, we explored the magical little venues as well as the largest and impressiveness in them, such as the Amphi Theatre. At the breath taking huge Amphi Theatre we wanted to give a sense of intimacy, a sense of home for the couples embodied in a carpet and sofas which gave a warm feeling. We ended the perfect day in a chic picnic for all of our couples to lay back, get comfortable and yet be so festive and luxurious. And of course with a musical ZEBRA touch of a vintage accordion! Paper hearts video also caught this perfect day with the behind the scenes video. It was such a funny and special day for the couples, Ronit farm served as a lovely backdrop for Zebra Music’s fun in the sun!”
