ENTERTAIN YOUR GUESTS WITH THIS DIY BAR CART
You guys, I have wanted a bar cart for SO LONG, my problem however, was the price. I’ve seen these bad boys ranging from £500 up into the thousands!! Now don’t get me wrong, this is by no means a beautiful hand crafted bar cart like we all love and see all over Pinterest, this is a make shift bar cart on a budget but I couldn’t love it more! It adds the perfect pop of colour to the room and is way more exciting than having your booze stored in a cupboard! Here’s how you can make your own…
YOU WILL NEED:
A vegetable trolley (ours was £6.99 from Ebay!) // Spray paint in the colour of your choice // Place mats in the colour of your choice // Your favourite alcohol // Glasses // Decor pieces (such as books or a skull!) // Our printable bar cart sign which you can download here! //
STEP 1:
Remove the wheels from your vegetable trolley then spray paint it whichever colour you like! We gave ours two coats of yellow, but we think gold would look super cute too!
STEP 2:
Pop your place mats on the shelves so that you have a flat surface to place everything on. You could also use wood here or even glass if you can’t find place mats to fit.
STEP 3:
(The fun part!) Take your alcohol and start to place it on the shelves, the big bottles obviously need to be placed on the top but mini bottles could go on the lower ones or even cans of lemonade and glasses like we used.
STEP 4:
Print off our bar cart sign, pop it in a frame and place it on top of the cart!
STEP 5:
Finally, add the finishing touches of decor! We placed a couple of our favourite books on the bottom shelf along with a flower filled skull!
Job done! Happy drinking, clinking and cocktail making! xx

Thank you Omo xxx
Oh my! I have a vegetable trollye, and it has been annoying me for years because I can’t put small things on it, because they will slip through the cracks. I could be kicking myself! Put something flat in the bottom! Of course!
Thanks so much for this, now maybe I can put it to use!
Awww glad to hear you will be using your Vegetable trolley once more 🙂
