Whether you have made your decision to marry abroad or are currently looking at it as a possibility, there is a good chance you have all run into the same worries and headaches when it comes to considering a destination wedding. Many of you will have focused on the idea of beautiful sunshine for your wedding day, cheaper costs and less planning however it comes with a price.

I’m talking about the possibility of family and friends being unable to travel due to costs or time, not forgetting to mention the stress of planning a wedding overseas. So what if I was to tell you, that it is possible to have a beautiful, unique wedding day, right here in the UK, just a stone’s throw away from golden sandy beaches and the most amazing food ever! The only thing we can’t guarantee is the weather, but if my vacation experiences are anything to go by, you can’t guarantee the weather abroad either.

I have always been a sucker for Italy so when the Italian Villa got in touch to introduce us to their luxurious wedding venue, I just had to share them with you too. I mean beaches, historical buildings, acres of gorgeous gardens and gourmet food – it couldn’t be any more like Italy really could it?

Set in Poole, Dorset, the Italian Villa has three floors of beautiful suites, a large balcony that overlooks the grand Italian gardens and for those with a love of food, the venue is hosted by award-winning on-site caterers Beales Gourmet providing exquisite cuisine for all tastes. As though that wasn’t enough, the venue is also just five minutes from delicious award winning beaches, seriously can you imagine the photos, no one will ever believe you when you tell them you were actually in Dorset.

Now that you have heard all that, surely it is a no brainer, you don’t need to go abroad to have an exotic wedding, you can head to the Italian Villa instead. However don’t blame me if the rain makes a sudden appearance I can’t have the answer to everything now can I! For those of you still looking, fingers crossed, you have just found your perfect wedding venue!
