AGATE INSPIRED BRIDAL SHOWER
Who says bridal luncheons should be boring and predictable? A team of talented vendors joined forces at the Leslie-Alford-Mims House to style a bridal luncheon that totally rocks! Pun intended. From agate decor, to wildly colorful details, this agate inspired bridal shower takes the standard pre-wedding gathering to a whole new level.
“As a creative planner, I like to think outside of the box”, Priscilla told us. “I bought a set of agate bookends and knew from that moment that I needed to design a styled shoot revolving around those vibrant rocks.”
“Each place setting was denoted with a perfectly imperfect rock with each name elegantly calligraphed atop. Signature cocktails were adorned with rock candy while agate rocks and decor were used as platters and trays for miniature desserts. As a thank you from the bride to the bridesmaids, she also gave each girl an agate necklace.”
Keen to hear all about that colourful backdrop we asked Priscilla to tell us more. “The highlight feature was the custom backdrop featuring the bold colors in a running splash pattern. A black cake with graffiti splatter and gold-etched diamond accent was the perfect addition to the luncheon’s festivities”.
“The idea of hosting a bridal luncheon isn’t uncommon. But the idea of hosting a perfectly executed themed bridal luncheon is and our hope is that this colorful and electrifying shoot can offer inspiration for brides hoping to take their bridal luncheon or shower to the next level.”

Wow! That’s pretty awesome! I love the Agate, I have a friend getting married who would totally swoon if we did something like that for her!
That cake is EPIC too! I wouldn’t want to eat it 🙂
Good job to the vendors!
I could swoon over that cake for DAYS, literally. Amazing!
