I think I’ve been to the circus maybe once in my life and I have no memory of it whatsoever, I recall seeing a photo of me at one when I was a little girl! None the less when I think of the circus my mind automatically drifts to trapeze artists & beautiful costumes combined with big tops & twinkling lights! It’s a magical vision in my head and if you ask me, magical goes hand in hand with weddings…
A WORD FROM THE DESIGNERS…
“From the first time I went to the circus, as a small boy, I knew I was in love. The colorful outfits, lighted marquees, decadent carnival fair treats and the amazing performers and their animal friends all stole my heart and created a warm and rich place in my memory. So when a local magazine reached out to us to create a circus-themed wedding, our imaginations went wild. Aiming for the non-traditional bride and using all the colors and whimsy that a circus provides, we chose vintage eclectic furnishings and colorful accents to evoke the look and feel of a traveling circus. Additionally, we hand-crafted a number of items to layer in with our furnishings, carefully curated rentals and design props to bring a sense of realness to this magical setting. The rich florals and their whimsical containers were definitely the show stoppers from this shoot…the beautiful full size top hat centerpieces, the fascinators to be carried by the bridal party and the gorgeous bridal bouquet created quite the stir.”
