MAKE THESE EASY PAINTED FAVOUR BAGS
If you’re looking for an easy favour idea for your guests or even for the kiddos at your wedding then these DIY painted favour bags are for you! They couldn’t be easier to make either, (I mean, seriously easy!) grab a few gal pals (And cocktails) and have a little painting party! We decided to paint ours with pink and orange craft paint but you can use whatever colours you like and even colour co-ordinate them to your wedding theme! I think they would look super pretty and classy with metallic paints too!
YOU WILL NEED:
Craft paint (or acrylic paint) // A thin paintbrush // Glassine bags (we got 50 bags for £2.60 on Ebay) // A bunch of sweets and candy! //
STEP 1:
Grab your paint and paintbrush and start to create a pattern or design on the front of the glassine bags. You can create whatever you want here! We decided to make an Xs and Os design, a polka dot design, a brush stroke pattern and a few hearts!
STEP 2:
Keep painting until you have enough bags for all of your weddings guests (plus extra) then allow the paint to fully dry.
STEP 3:
Finally, fill them with sweets! Or alternatively you could pop them on a sweet stand and let your guests pick and choose the candy they want to fill their bags with!
I must admit it was pretty dam hard not eating up all the yummy sweets while we were shooting this DIY! So what do you guys think?? Super easy to create and a really affordable way to give your guests and the kids favours! They would even work at a bridal shower or bachelorette party!
