15 Unique & Alternative Ways to Display Your Wedding Flowers
We are huge fans of doing things a little differently here at Bespoke Bride. Often we are sent emails asking us if we know of ways to make something unique or alternative and today its all about flowers.
Flower arrangements can certainly cause issues when it comes to personalizing them, so as usual we have scoured the t’internet to present you with our top finds,we hope you likey likey.
Simply placing one or two flowers in a plain glass bottle is hugely effective when presenting flowers on your tables. Adding fabric or lace around the bottle is cute little way to create the vintage look and add a touch of colour.
Use junk, literally! You can scout around old junk shops and yards, even charity shops for old junk items such as watering cans, umbrellas, tyres and old bike frames…
You can even make use of your wellies?
You dont even have to find items to plant flowers in, why not just lay them, hang them or wind them around structures. This would work especially well in old churches or barns where there are low hanging beams and pillars on which plants such as Ivy can twined around.
There of course other ways to hang your flowers such as these cute little hanging baskets or you could of course make your own, using jars and ribbon.
Old fruit boxes and window boxes can be used as centre pieces and could also be used to line the aisle, adding fruit to the arrangement witll certainly provide authenticity.
Instead of arranging flowers in vases, bottles or jars why not use wreathes or garlands tied with pieces of ribbon and fabric to create a shabby chic effect.
Scout out old tableware and use them as alternatives to vases.
Recycle old garden buckets.
White flowers and plants look especially awesome against the worn colour of the zinc.
You can also use them to plant succulents and other flowering plants which you and your guests can take home and place in the garden as a reminder of your special day.
Recycle recycle recyle!
Old tins are a fabulously rustic way to display flowers and plants….
Or you could use old wine vats and boxes.
We hope you have been inspired by our little selection. We would love to hear which is your favourite and of course let us know if you have any other great ideas. You can find all these images on our Pinterest board, where you can also find a few other unusual arrangements so be sure to check it out.
Happy Monday!!
