A SUPER SWEET PALM SPRINGS ENGAGEMENT
Today’s engagement shoot is bright enough alone but when when we saw that the bride-to-be had styled her wardrobe straight out of her love for life and color, we knew she was going to be a classic Bespoke Bride!
Tracy wore bright pink flamingo Stacy Weber heels -they’re amazing BTW! And later, the couple switched to Hawaiian Chubbie shirts whilst taking fun pics in the desert landscape.
Tracy and Kyle planned a bad-ass black tie Palm Springs New Year’s Eve wedding, so we asked them to tell us more about what they had planned for their big day!
“With our wedding being on New Years Eve and in Palm Springs, the Old Hollywood/Palm Springs glam was immediately the theme we knew we wanted!” Began Tracy.
“Black and gold are without a doubt my favorite colors and I love all the glitz and glam, but in a very classic way. The colors, the theme, the holiday and the venue all came together seamlessly.”
“We decided to use a wedding planner located on the ground in Palm Springs. I had pretty exact ideas of what I wanted and what I envisioned the day looking like, but being in Seattle we definitely needed a professional on the ground in Palm Springs. We made two trips to Palm Springs prior to the wedding but the rest of the planning was done over the phone or Skype.”
“While our planner, handled all of the logistics and work on the ground in Palm Springs, we did a lot on our end and were very hands on in choosing our vendors, and all of the other accessories and elements that went into the final product.”
“Every day leading up to the wedding came with another fear, another worry. Would there be enough people attending, would people have fun, what if I don’t fit into my dress, what if it rains (that fear actually did happen!), what if my hair doesn’t turn out how I pictured it.. the list could go on!” She explained.
“So many people told me to not worry about the little things because looking back on it they won’t matter. Well, I’m not that kind of person, and I will tell you they do matter! But luckily, there were only a few minor blips that only myself, my husband, my parents and our planner knew about.”
“At the end of the day, there will always be fears and worries but it was the best day ever, the best party I’ve ever been to, and I got to marry the man of my dreams.”
